Help fund "a journey to the outcrops of a dying culture"

The mighty brains at Dirty Bristow are planning a new book, hot on the heels of Concrete and Cocktails (a glance at the indie pubs of Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter), celebrating the English seaside and its culture.

They're looking for £500+ to pay for petrol, overnight stays, seaside paraphenalia (tat) and the like. All their experiences will then go into a book which I can't help but draw Jerome K Jerome paralells with. But I wouldn't expect anything quite so quaint. Jon and Danny don't do quaint.

I read Concrete and Cocktails, really enjoyed it, and so expect many pages of observational awesome from a pair who write so well together it makes me jealous.

If you can spare a few quid, why not send it their way? You can find out more at pierreview.co.uk.
