Readability is a web and mobile app that makes reading online articles easier, by removing clutter (like navigation, comments, sidebars and ads) so you can just read the piece you want to. Its technology is implemented in a few websites, but is also a paid-for service that shares revenue with writers. They've recently been in the news as their app has been rejected by Apple's App Store (see Readability's response).
